The rooms are huge and neat with amazingly comfortable beds and even champagne. the hotel has a very central location, making it an excellent place for discovering Barcelona. - the personnel are truly wonderful and always ready to answer every question and fulfill any request.

Make sure to get superior queen room with the level of light, all the contemporary, for instance;)))

This is a beautiful new property built into a medieval palace which was built into part of the Roman wall that surrounded Barcelona in the 2nd Century ad. The combination of modern additions in the ancient historic structure is visually fascinating, and the hotel is elegant and comfortable.

The only possible drawback is the location on a narrow medieval street in the Gothic quarter. Our taxi had trouble reaching the hotel because an approach street was blocked by a street cleaner.

The hotel's setting was very central. the staff were exceptionally helpful people who helped answer every question and request. - I greatly enjoyed the staff, mainly due to their friendliness. - I had a nicely decorated and modern room with tranquil lighting.

Excellent, friendly, warm hearted, competent staff!!!!! What a pleasure to stay in this quite new hotel, that opened in September 2012. Magnificent place to be, in the middle of the Gothic district. Rooms are not all that big, but very cosy. Car parking some 200 meters away. Everything can be done from there by walking distance. Great food in both the restaurant and tapas bar! We will definitely come back to this great hotel.

Minor things, because the hotel is quite new: hook for the bathrobe etc etc. We are sure this will be taken care off.

This is a brand new hotel and it was a pleasure from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The hotel is built into the old walls of the Gothic quarter and the architect combined new and old in a stunning way. The overall ambiance is extraordinary and we loved the feel of the hotel. The staff could not have been more accommodating from the the tour they gave us when we arrived to a cup of coffee while we were checking out quite early in the morning. I loved the old streets around the hotel, and in truth it is easy to walk to almost anywhere from this location. Bravo to the team there who are working hard to make this a very special place!

Very good in almost all points; prices for food in the hotel (including breakfast) seemed too high though. Otherwise, a very nice experience.

I highly recommend staying here as I thoroughly enjoyed this luxurious hotel for its great location, incredibly attentive staff, and the delightful surprise of the terrace bar.

The staff was great, they did all they could for us, since day 1! The hotel is new, and very modern Art Deco. Location was also great! Close to La Rambla and a Subway...

- On the pricy side but worth the money - Not easy to find upon arrival as located in a narrow side street and taxis will not know how to drive in. Look beforehand on map.
